On the Poultry Africa Expo on 5 & 6 October 2022 in Rwanda the Netherlands pay attention to insects for feed – especially the use of Black Soldier Flies. The Dutch Embassy,  Netherlands Food Partnership and New Generation Nutrition also pay attention to alternative proteins to feed the growing world population. You can use crickets for human consumption and Marian Peters of NGN shows the results of Flying Food: cricket production in Kenya, Uganda and Nigeria and building the ecosystem around them to make them successful.
