Congratulations InsectiPro!

This cricket farm and cricket processing company from Kenya developed a new cricket food product. Nina de Groot, product manager at InsectiPro, presented the Chirrups – a Crunch with a Punch! Chirrups are fried crickets, a snack packed in small sachets. You can buy them in three flavors: Plain, Salt & Vinegar and Barbeque. Nina launched the new cricket product at the Kenyan Food Event in Nairobi last month.

InsectiPro started with farming crickets in 2019 and bought the equipment of EntoAfrica, partner of Flying Food. Nina de Groot did an internship at Flying Food during her graduation at HAS Den Bosch and took her knowledge and experience to InsectiPro, where she developed new cricket derived food products.
